Val spent two summers in the Rocky Mountains collecting demographic data from Valeriana edulis and imposing future climate conditions upon them. Field work just isn’t the same without her stories & wit. After working in environmental education, Val is back to research working on her Master’s degree on the community ecology of urban streams with Hamish Greig at the University of Maine.
